Electric window problem. On my 2008 Megane 1.5 dCi the passenger side electric front window has stopped working. Neither the local or remote switch will open/close the window. The driver's side front and both rear windows all work as normal.
The most common cause for auto windows not working in Renault Megane is when the 12 volt battery has been replaced or disconnected. May 29, 2017 #1. Mark B. Hi, my window has stopped working completely - luckily it was closed! Had a look today and when I press the window switch the relay clicks every time. The relay has been replaced before as the one I have is about 1" square with two wires going to the motor.

Nothing happened. I thought instantly it was obviously the motor or a fuse. I checked all the fuses and they're all fine. Whilst searching the forums on this sort of problem the window just randomly went up half way on its own.
First, check the fuse box to see if the fuse for the window is blown. If it is, replace it with a new fuse. Next, check the wiring to see if there are any loose connections. If so, tighten them up. Finally, check the window motor to see if it is working properly. If it is not, you will need to replace it.
